Dear Educators,
The Delaware Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the
educational
Explorer Concert Series for the 2011-2012 season. To reach more
students in the state, once again we bring the DSO to Dover this season
for our Explorer Concerts! These concerts are school-day, one hour long
programs comprised of accessible, student-friendly classical favorites
that provide an introduction to the orchestra and classical music.
Students will have the unforgettable experience of hearing live music
performed by a symphony orchestra.
November 2011 -
Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf with Ravel: Mother Goose Suite
These works were performed on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the Grand Opera House,
Wilmington and Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 10am and 12:30pm at the Schwartz Center
in Dover.

April 2012 - Holst's The Planets
This concert was performed in April 2012.
